One framework couldn't hold all of you.
We started StellaType because the personality tools we'd been using kept missing each other. MBTI explained how someone thinks but never how they feel a room. Astrology described the emotional weather but stayed silent about cognition. We wanted something that could hold both signals in one portrait.
Principles
How we write a profile.
Neither system is the whole answer.
MBTI captures cognitive style. Astrology captures emotional register. We don't believe one is true and the other isn't — we believe each catches a different signal.
192 portraits, not 16 categories.
When you combine MBTI types with sun signs, you get 192 distinct fusions. Each one is specific enough that the reading sounds like a person you actually know.
Written to be useful, not flattering.
We name the shadow. We tell you what burns out under pressure. We say what would actually clash. If the reading only sounds nice, it isn't doing its job.
Private by default.
The test runs entirely in your browser. We don't store your answers, we don't ask for your name, we don't sell your birth date.
